Clergy Bios

I am a life-long resident of South Dakota as well as a life-long member of the Episcopal Church. I was ordained as a vocational Deacon in 2002 and have served at St. Andrew's since that time. After approximately 12 years, I continue to serve as the mentor for the area Education for Ministry (EfM) group. I work as the Office Operations clerk for Rapid Valley Sanitary District which provides drinking water and sewer collection services in the urban sprawl area to the east of Rapid City.

Vestry Bios

I came to the Episcopal Church when I was shunned by the Church of my birth; wounded I was accepted with Love, Compassion and Understanding. I attended Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Gillette, WY as a member for almost 10 years. I then moved to Casper, WY to become more involved in the lives of my Children. I was confirmed as a member of Saint Mark's Parish during this time. I moved to Rapid City 5 years ago but did not attend worship entering a period of self-examination. I am now a member of Saint Andrew's parish, re-affirmed by Bishop John and proud to serve as I am called.

Clerk of the vestry: is a life-long member of St. Andrew's, attends the 10am service regularly, sings in the choir and is a lector. Shelli is also in year 2 of EFM (Education For Ministry).
